The teaching loop follows evidence-based pedagogy. Each lesson card presents a concept, checks for understanding, provides scaffolded hints if needed, and only advances when the student demonstrates genuine mastery. This mirrors the "I do, we do, you do" approach used by effective classroom teachers.

SQA marking scheme integration is what sets us apart. Our AI has been trained on official marking instructions from every available past paper. When it marks a student's work, it applies the same criteria an SQA examiner would — awarding method marks for correct processes even when the final answer is wrong, and flagging where communication marks would be lost.

Adaptive difficulty uses a mastery-based progression model. The system tracks competence at the individual outcome level (not just by unit or topic) and adjusts the difficulty and frequency of practice accordingly.
